Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the About You Beauty website and mobile platforms (collectively, the “Platform”) operated by Vanha Enterprises (“we”, “us”, “our”), a proprietorship/entity registered under applicable Indian law with its principal place of business at Noida Sector-90, Uttar Pradesh, India. By browsing, registering, or placing an order on the Platform, you (“User”, “you”, “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies incorporated herein by reference. These Terms constitute a legally binding electronic contract under the Information Technology Act, 2000. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must exit the Platform immediately and refrain from placing any orders.

Eligibility

The Platform is intended for use only by persons who are legally competent to enter into contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Specifically:

  •  You must be 18 years of age or older to independently use this Platform and make purchases.
  • Persons below the age of 18 may use the Platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on their behalf.
  • By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet the above eligibility criteria.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts and cancel orders if we reasonably suspect that the user does not meet the eligibility requirements.

Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform or place orders, you may be required to register an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep such information updated.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and not share them with any third party.
  • Immediately notify us at support@aboutyoubeautyin.com of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that have been used in violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

Products, Descriptions & Pricing

4.1 Product Information
We strive to display product descriptions, ingredient lists, shade ranges, and images as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the Platform are complete, accurate, or error-free. Product colours may appear differently on screen based on your device’s display settings. We recommend a patch test as mentioned on the labels and cartons to ensure skin safety.
Our products are formulated with a science-first, inclusivity-centred approach, with particular attention to South Asian and deeper skin tones. Product claims are based on formulation intent and, where applicable, third-party testing. Individual results may vary. Nothing on this Platform constitutes medical advice.
4.2 Pricing
All prices on the Platform are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout, and that price will be reflected on your invoice.
If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel orders placed at that incorrect price, even after confirmation, and will provide a full refund in such cases.

Orders, Payment & Cancellations

5.1 Order Process
Placing an item in the cart does not constitute a confirmed order. An order is only confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email/SMS from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for reasons of stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or pricing errors.
5.2 Payment
We accept payments via domestic debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), UPI, net banking, and other digital payment methods as displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store your card details on our servers.
Cash on Delivery (COD) may be available at select pincodes. In the event of a payment failure, please do not retry immediately — check your bank statement before attempting again and contact us at support@aboutyoubeautyin.com if needed.
5.3 Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled prior to dispatch by contacting us at support@aboutyoubeautyin.com. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled and the return/refund policy will apply. We reserve the right to cancel orders that appear fraudulent or that violate our purchase limits.

Shipping & Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible after order confirmation. Delivery timelines depend on your location and the courier partner assigned to your order and are indicative only — we do not guarantee delivery by any specific date. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural events, or factors beyond our reasonable control. Risk of loss and title for products purchased passes to you upon delivery. If a package appears tampered with or damaged at the time of delivery, you may refuse delivery and contact us immediately. All orders are shipped with an invoice mentioning product MRP, as required under Indian law.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

As a skincare brand, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, skin incompatibility, or personal preference — skincare is an individual experience and results may vary. However, we are committed to quality and will address genuine issues as follows:
• Returns are accepted only for physically damaged products, manufacturing defects, or incorrect shipments. Claims must be raised within 48 hours of delivery by emailing support@aboutyoubeautyin.com with your order number, an unboxing video, and clear photos showing the damage or defect. Claims not reported within this window cannot be processed.

  •  All returned products must be in original, unused condition and original packaging. If the product is not returned in appropriate condition, your return will be disqualified and the product will be reshipped to you.
  • Returns are not accepted for opened or used products, products with altered or damaged serial numbers, or products that do not suit your skin type or preference. Please refrain from accepting delivery if the outer packaging is open or the seal has been tampered with — we cannot accept liability for such orders.
  • Once a return is approved, our delivery partner will collect the product. Upon receipt and quality inspection at our warehouse, a replacement will be dispatched. Where a replacement is not possible, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days. In special circumstances, a partial refund may be offered where only part of an order is affected.
  • Promotional, trial-size, and gifted products are not eligible for return. We do not offer direct exchanges — if you would like a different product, please place a new order.

To register a return, email support@aboutyoubeautyin.com with your order number, an unboxing video, and clear photos of the issue. Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM IST.

Intellectual Property

The About You Beauty brand name and logo are the registered trademarks of Vanha Enterprises and are protected under Indian trademark law. Other content on the Platform, including formulation concepts, marketing copy, images, graphics, and design elements, is protected under Indian copyright and intellectual property laws. Individual product names are not claimed as registered trademarks unless specifically indicated. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent. Unauthorised use may give rise to civil and criminal liability. User-generated content (reviews, comments, community submissions) that you submit to our Platform grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, and share such content in connection with our marketing activities.

Prohibited Conduct

By using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Submit false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the Platform.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform and its content are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure accuracy, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the content for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vanha Enterprises shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or our products. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific product in relation to which the claim arises. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government action, pandemics, or disruptions to third-party services.

Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (such as social media platforms, payment processors, or logistics partners). These links are provided for convenience only and we do not endorse or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or services of such third parties. You access third-party websites at your own risk.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through our customer support team. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts located in Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh, India. For consumer grievances, you may also approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or use the Government of India’s National Consumer Helpline (NCH).

Amendments to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. No waiver by us of any breach of these Terms shall constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
